Ann Barnhardt's video response to Sen. Lindsey Graham's call for outlawing Koran burning is absolutely great. I don't have words to say how great it is. I have never in my life seen such a powerful rebuke to a public figure who deserved a rebuke as what she delivers to Graham. I never heard of Barnhardt before. I'll vote for her for president of the United States. To use her terms, she has the balls and the brains for the job. She has the stuff of an American Thatcher. And, most unlike Thatcher, who did nothing to stop the Third-Worldization of Britain, Barnhardt opposes Islam and the Islamization of the West.
In the second part of her presentation Barnhardt reads selected passages in the Koran, denounces each passage as evil, and then rips out the pages one at a time and burns them. It is very effective. Unfortunately she mars the exercise by her use of bacon as page markers. As I said regarding the Koran burnings during the earlier Jones affair last September, burning the Koran is a righteous act. Doing it with bacon or bacon fat is disgusting and gratuitously insulting and it lowers our side. I don't support that. Terry Jones didn't use bacon when he burned a Koran. Since the estimable Ann Barnhardt was burning the Koran in solidarity with Jones, she should have followed his example and avoided the gratuitous and vulgar insult to Muslims.
That negative note aside, I am overjoyed to see intelligent persons like Ann Barnhardt supporting Terry Jones, not just saying that he had the "right" to burn the Koran, but saying that he was right to burn the Koran, and then doing likewise. And by the way, will Andrew McCarthy and the other respectable Islam critics call Ann Barnhardt a moron and a nut, as they called Jones?

Senator Lindsey Doesn't know WWII history
or thinks we the people don't know it.
The senator said we shouldn't offend Muslims because it endangers our military -- comparing this with WWII policy for the public not to say anything that would give the enemy confidential information that could be used against our GIs

I was nine years old when the war ended in 1945. I well remember that all during the war, there were government sponsored public ads on radio, in newspapers, busses, street posters and just about anywhere you looked that said things like: "Loose lips sink ships" or "Don't tell strangers what they don't need to know" or "Keep it to yourself" or "Keep your knowledge at the defense plant." This was to keep any sensitive information known to those who worked in defense plants and from letters received from our boys fighting overseas from getting into the wrong hands. They didn't say don't offend our enemies because it might make them mad.
In fact, almost anywhere you looked you would see posters like those below:

History has proven that a democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury.
From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that every democracy will finally collapse over loose fiscal policy, which is usually followed by a dictatorship.
The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history has been about 200 years -- America is on overtime.

Was there any warning of the comming calamity?
In his presentation, David Walker said that anyone who doesn't grasp the graveness of our economic future either doesn't know economic history or isn't very good in math. Unfortunately, the vast majority of today's immigrants along with a majority of American Citizens fall into that category.
Can the calamity be thwarted?
Yes, if we make some changes:
- A ten percent across-the-board cut in all entitlement spending -- and that just for starters. (If Greece is any indicator, there will be riots in the streets in of America.)
- No entitlements for anyone illegally in the U.S.
- Enforce our immigration laws.
- A fair tax system where consumers of goods and services pay - not manufacturers or service providers.
But if the anti-austerity riots in Greece are an indicator of what's to come to America's streets, fixing a broken system won't be easy.
Where did the money go?
Although America squanders money on just about everything it does, it started squandering money big time with President Johnson's "Great Society" spending which was supposed to end poverty in America. The spending might have worked but for the 1965 immigration act which opened the doors of America to millions of poor and uneducated immigrants from third world countries, most who got on the entitlement band wagon. Massive immigration, legal and illegal, is virtually a massive program to import poverty.
By any measure, the biggest area of spending is for entitlements mostly to people who don't pay any taxes at all, many who milk the system with virtual government approval.

The objectives of Environmentalists to purify and recycle the planet's resources are meaningless unless zero population growth is at the top of their list.
The most noted environmental group, the Sierra Club, had in its earlier years put zero population growth as its main goal. But the Sierra Club has caved in to political correctness driven by money on the issue of immigration. They no longer oppose massive immigration (legal or illegal).
The U.S. Census Bureau says that the current annual rate of growth in the U.S. is 0.9 percent which is expected to rise. But using the current growth rate, the U.S. population which is now at 312,838,706 will double in only 78 years to 625,677,412.
Most of the U.S. growth rate is driven by massive immigration mostly by uneducated non-White Hispanics who have the highest fertility rate which may even increase the population growth rate from its current level 0.9 percent. If the U.S. survives nuclear war our troubles won't be over. Immigration will do us in.
Some pro-immigration advocates point to the vast open areas that one sees when peering out of a coast to coast airliner's window as ample space to accommodate high immigration levels for years to come.
But sufficient space isn't the only requirement to enable the addition of millions more to our population -- although exponential population growth will ultimately cause the the U.S. to run out of living space.
The fate of the future of our planet can be determined easily with simple arithmetic. Even so, virtually all of our elected politicians either haven't got a clue about where we are heading and most are willing to sacrifice the future of America for votes.
